Rock Allegiance Coming This Summer! [ARTICLE]

Four awesome bands, from four different countries all partner together for the Rock Allegiance Tour 2013 with Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains, and Airborne rockin' out the tour. This is definitely a tour to check out!

"We're proud to announce that we'll be representing America on the road this summer on the Rock Allegiance tour with Volbeat, HIM, and Airbourne It's a US tour with 4 bands from 4 different countries - let's do this!" All That Remains.

"The fans have made our North American visits thus far this year great fun and truly memorable," Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen said. "We are looking forward to headlining Monster Energy's Rock Allegiance festival tour this summer, and sharing the stage with HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne."

"We've been in touch with Ville who would like to thank everyone for all their get well wishes. He was deeply disappointed that they had to cancel this recent U.S. tour. He's now feeling much better and is looking forward to coming back to the U.S. for the Rock Allegiance tour later this summer/fall."

Amanda Bynes Arrested in NYC [ARTICLE]

Actress Amanda Bynes was arrested last night (5/23/13) in her NYC apartment.

According to sources, a building official called police when they spotted Bynes in the lobby smoking a joint. "She was smoking a joint, acting erratically, and talking to herself." the building official said. When law enforcement arrived they knocked on her door and she let them in. 

When police noticed a bong in the apartment, Bynes quickly tossed it out the window...which lucky for her, didn't hit anyone below. When asked what she threw out the window she said "It was just a vase." 

While being placed under arrest Bynes was yelling to officers, "Don't you know who I am?" 

Bynes was charged with criminal possession of pot, as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence.

Law enforcement sources say Bynes was briefly taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation and then taken to the station for booking. 
But the station wasn't the last stop.  Bynes was then taken to night court just before midnight.Shortly after Bynes was released on her own recognizance -- meaning she did not have to post bail -- and she will have to appear in court again on July 9 to address her latest legal woes. 

The starlet has said that there is “NOTHING wrong” with her and that she plans to launch a fashion line . Bynes behavior has become increasingly bizarre over the past year -- with numerous arrests, a complete physical transformation and crazy tweets.

Paris Hilton Joins YMCMB [ARTICLE]

Its seems like Paris Hilton has sound some new friends s include Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. Reports state that Hilton has signed with Cash Money Records.

Hilton broke the news to Showbiz 411, saying that she hopes to have her album out by the summer. She also said it will will feature a number of hip-hop acts, including Lil Wayne, and production from EDM DJ Afrojack. "This is a lot different than my first album," Paris told the site. "It's really going to be house music."

Reports from Cash Money say a deal isn't set in stone. "Paris Hilton is in talks with a number of record labels right now but we can't confirm anything. "When a deal is finalized we will make an official announcement."

Hilton has been working with the Cash Money crew for a while now. Last year, she released a song with Wayne, "Last Night," and he was even at her birthday bash back in March. In May, she was also casted to cameo in the Rich Gang's video for "Tapout" alongside Wayne, Birdman, Mack Maine and Nicki Minaj.

"We have other artists like Future, who is not signed to us but a part of us. French, Ross, Meek and all these artists are friends that we rock with and call on," Birdman says. "A lot of business we do don't necessarily have to be about money, it's about relationships and this is about people that we have relationships with."

We're excited to hear what Hilton is going to put out this summer. "I think a lot of people don't know that music is my passion since I was a little girl," the "Stars Are Blind" singer told MTV News last year. "I'm very musically talented."

Pandora Pulls Off Biggest Music Industry Scam, Ever! [ARTICLE]

Pandora has grown a lot over the past few years. With smart phones becoming more popular, the number of Pandora listeners has also seen a large increase. If you're not familiar with Pandora, it's an automated music recommendation service that allows the listener to type in an Artist, Genre, or Album, and Pandora will play music similar to what you've searched.

What you may not know is that Pandora has been pulling off one of the biggest scams in the music industry, ever! When an artist submits their music to Pandora they are required to sign a "letter of support for Internet radio". By signing this  letter it will allow Pandora to pay the artist whatever they think is fair. This means that if Pandora wants to pay the artist one cent every time their song is played they can, regardless of the royalties. 

Tim Westergren, founder of Pandora, has argued that the "only way for Pandora to grow as fast as possible" is to cut artist royalty checks by up to 85%, which is exactly what the "letter" does. If this petition does pass, Pandora's "Internet Radio Fairness Act" will be back effect.

Ray Manzarek Dead at 74 [ARTICLE]

Co-founder of The Doors, Ray Mazarek, died yesterday (5/20/13) at the age of 74, after a long battle with bile duct cancer.

If you don't know who The Doors are, they were a psychedelic rock band from the 60s and 70s. The band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, as well as being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. 

Manzarek was born an raised in the south side of Chicago. After high school he went on to study economics at DePaul University. From 1962 to 1965 he studied cinematography at UCLA. There he met Jim Morrison. Morrison insisted that  Manzarek hear some of the songs he had written. Manzarek liked the songs and the two founded The Doors. 

Manzarek continued to play until mid-2011 and did collaborations with artists such as Darryl Read and

"Weird Al" Yankovic. Manzarek will be missed in the music community.

So French Montana's new album drops today and we got an exclusive sneak peek! Although this album was planned to be released in April it was definitely worth the wait. 

Not a surprise, the album includes Montana's newest single "Freaks" with Nicki Minaj, but the record also features multiple appearances from Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, as well as Drake, Snoop Dogg, the Weeknd, Raekwon, 2 Chainz, Mavado, Ace Hood, Birdman, Jermih, and Bad Boy boss Diddy. 

I'm not much into buying CDs anymore, but after hearing it at the listening party, I will definitely be picking this one up. If you're a French Montana fan you will not be disappointed.

Soulja Boy's Facebook Page Hacked! AGAIN! [UPDATE]

If you don't know who Ballout is, its ok, no one does. He is one of Chief Keef's artists singed to GBE. Back in April Soulja Boy threatened to kill Chief Keef via Facebook, and also made threats to Ballout after he claimed to have stolen Soulja Boy's Jesus piece. A little while later Soulja Boy posted that he was hacked and there was no beef between him and Sosa. 

Well now it looks like they're back at it. Soulja Boy just posted on Facebook, "Ayee Ballout and the rest of them Gay Boyz Entertainment don't want no problems. Come see me you fuck nigga! You know the address 717 West Olympic BLVD, 90015 Los Angeles, CA Floor 26. I'm waitin you pussy! #BlastGangShooter" (Upon further research this is Soulja's real address.) 

There are also posts from Soulja's official Facebook page such as, "It's true, Diamond do got a stank ass p*ssy. I just wanted some top from the thot #BlastGang" and "Ima tell y'all the truth I don't pay none of my SODMG artist !!! So don't come way looking for a deal"

Do you think Soulja Boy was hacked? It sure seems like it. Although it is pretty funny...it sucks for Soulja. When will he realize that SODMG isn't a very secure password.
